Wood Buzz For Cash "aka: Buzz
Rena Elkins brought Buzz to Roberto's Ranch just to make these practice runs in this video. She then took Buzz to a working cattle ranch in Willows for more
real working foundation. Rena said, "Buzz was a completely different horse this weekend. He was so happy and willing. I rode him for about 6 hours on Saturday and he never quit me. I loped him for miles and never had to push him. His ears were perked up and he just went
everywhere I asked. Over rocks and ruts and climbed mountains. He absolutely loved it being out of the arena.
There is about 2 miles of worked up trail. I got to let him run full out and he stretched out and RAN!! He was so good!
He was dog tired on Saturday but never quit." Rena took
serveral colts up there including Buzz's full brother Nugget who is just two. Rena said, "He was pretty naughty on Saturday. Emmet put him on a long line and he was a little silly but worked out of it.
Then Emmett got on him. He was fine trotting but when Emmett asked him to lope he cut loose. Reared and bucked but Emmett rode him through it and he finally quit."
