Wood Get The Cash "aka: Nugget
December 11th slight colic symptoms.
It was not normal when I un-blanked Nugget and he had not touched his morning feeding. I told Steve to keep an eye on him. By afternoon he still had not
touched his flack of hay. By 3pm in the afternoon he was laying up by the tree
so I caught him. I noticed that his flanks were drawn in.
He did have gut sounds on both sides, but he started pawing, looking at his belly and that is when I started calling the vet. Brenda was out of town and so was Dr. Stabbe. Doc Ford was in and I hauled him there after giving him 2 grams of Banamine. When he arrived at Doc Fords
he was calmer, but had a small colon blockage. They oiled him after taking a blood draw. He stayed there for two nights and was finialy pooping and sent home.
