Red Hot Howie landed just out of the 1D money Friday night and in the 2D money on Sat., at the 777 NFR Barrel Race. His fastest time was 14.5 Sunday morning November 15 in Ceres at Diamond Bar Arena.
Red Hot Howie runs 14.5
It was a hard course, set up just like the Thomas and Mack in Las Vegas with an ally and blind first barrel.
It was a cold weather race where they try and copy what the National Finals Rodeo women run when competing at the NFR when it is located at the Thomas and Mack building in Las Vegas.
This year with COVID the NFR will be held in Texas with a standard length pattern. But my Futurity colt did do real well.
He clocked a 15.010 with a 15.1 practice run the day before.
