The Skyline Ranch
Skyline Ranch was built in 1949 by Stanley
Cosca, Steve's Father. The ranch consisted of barns with 60 horse stalls, tack rooms, wash racks, indoor riding ring, club room, restaurant, saddle shop, corrals and a 100 acre pasture. The outdoor arena was 100 by 250 feet and had calf roping and bucking chutes. Steve started riding calves at his family's Skyline Ranch in the early 1950's.
You can see the large white barns in the background. In 1950 there was a rare
snowstorm where this picture shows the enterance to the Skyline Ranch.
